Today’s Tentmaker Challenges – Video Series

“Forewarned, forearmed; to be prepared is half the victory”
Miguel de Cervantes

To be forewarned is to be prepared.

There are many ways the Enemy defeats us in our quest to serve the King and extend his Kingdom. C. S. Lewis describes a number of the subtle traps the devil uses to steal our joy in Screwtape Letters. Though fictional, these stories point out real truths about the spiritual battles that take place outside of our view.

Learning from the experience of our past, and the past of others can help us avoid the same pain and defeat. Through decades of walking alongside thousands of tentmakers and debriefing them on their experiences, Global Intent has gleaned wisdom from the wealth of tentmakers experiences.

Would you like to lead your co-workers into the Bible, but do not know how to do it? Or would you like to let them listen through some key passages of the Bible that you later can discuss together?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, the Discover App may be a good tool for you. Using the Discovery bible study method, the app takes its users on a journey through central passages from creation to Christ.

Discovery Bible Studies (DBS) focus on the Bible texts and trusts that all people, through the Holy Spirit, can understand what the texts say and thus get a relationship to Jesus. For a long time, this study method has been a powerful tool in bringing people from different cultural backgrounds to Christ.

Fear for “tsunami” hitting Iranian Christians

The killing of one of Iran’s top leaders by US forces may cause a “tsunami” of problems for Christians in Iran. The turmoil may also create new opportunities for sharing the gospel, believes one of the most influential leaders among Iranian Christians.

“Christians in Iran react with uncertainty and anxiety to the liquidation of Iran’s military leader Qassem Soleimani. In case of escalation of hostilities and engagement in war, Iranian Christians will suffer more than any other segment of society,” says Lazarus Yeghnazar in an interview with Christianity Today.
