New Resources for Tentmakers

Videos

On the Global Intent YouTube channel there is a collection of videos by and for tentmakers https://youtube.com/globalintent/. There are tentmaker stories, how-to lessons, what you need to know to be an effective tentmaker, among other topics. The most recent additions include Andrew Scott, president of OM-USA, on shifting trends in missions. And Ari Rocklin presents the case for tentmaking as a Digital Nomad.

Training in Spanish

With the growing interest in tentmaking among the Spanish-speaking world key articles are being translated.

o   “Why Did Paul Make Tents?” https://intent.org/why is now available in Spanish, “Por qué Pablo Hizo Tiendas” http://intent.org/por-que

o   “Fishing Evangelism” https://intent.org/fishing is also available in Spanish under the title, “Pescando a Buscadores: Evangelismo en la Vida Cotidiana” http://intent.org/pescando.

o   GO Experience, an online introduction to tentmaking is being offered in Spanish this June.

Training

o   English – Modules 1-3 of the online version of the GO Equipped course

o   Portuguese – GO Experience introduction to tentmaking; GO Equipped; GO Discover to explore if tentmaking is a good fit for you; GO Ahead preparing to get a position and move overseas with one-on-one mentoring.

o   Spanish GO Experience online introduction to tentmaking in June.
