Tentmakers Returning

We have good news. Those who did not have to return home are seeing a greater impact of their ministries and one especially is seeing an exponential growth in new disciples being born and forming small groups. It is even more amazing as this is happening in one of the most closed countries in the 1040 window (does anyone still use that term?) 

Those who are now returning are finding a vastly different situation as restrictions are still in place. God is in control and it is up to us to figure out what His plan is from here onwards. Some have had to revert to being ESL teachers in order to be able to return.

Welcoming Party

One long serving tentmaker couple returned to a very warm and touching welcome. It was like meeting up with a long-lost family. There were festivities and meals to be enjoyed. Too much food and too little sleep was their comment. Picture above is of one of the meals prepared for them.

However, beneath the obvious joy of reunion, was a clear sign of spiritual interest which had not been prevalent during the time before the pandemic. In returning they were also seen as being committed to relationships and to God. Any previous suspicions were now long gone and replaced by an openness to faith matters.
