In-Person Training Returns

CRST – Centrul Român de Studii Transculurale

This week brought the atmosphere we missed

After seven months of not having teachers at campus, this week brought the atmosphere we missed: the teacher with the students, interacting in class around the concept of “bi-vocationalism.”

We praise the Lord for the seventh week since the students returned to campus, for His protection over this place and for how He teaches us to said through these times.

When are classroom tentmaking courses happening?

While the online tentmaking courses in English, Spanish and Portuguese have taken off, there will always be a demand for classroom courses. The picture is from Romania where an active tentmaker was one of the teachers.

Tent International and Global Intent together with their local partners have tentatively scheduled two courses for late fall. One in Germany and the other either in Slovakia or Slovenia. The teaching team is anxiously waiting to see if it will take place as they are just itching to continue to equip students to take the Gospel to places where it is not yet known.

What kind of people attend these courses?

  • Students who go for a semester or more to a closed country university to study.
  • Professionals with needed skills to get hired abroad that have a desire to see people come to Christ and be discipled.
  • Retirees looking for a new career, bringing their life experience and faith with them.
  • Mission leaders who want to bring this self supported model to their agencies.
  • Active tentmakers who have realized they need more knowledge on how to do mission better.
  • Businesspeople looking to start or join established Kingdom businesses among the least reached.
  • Are you one of the above? Keep checking Tentmaking Today’s event page. www.tentmaking.today/events.
