Onsite tentmaker training is back. The German team is the first to confirm a date for face-to-face training beginning this Fall.

Registration is open for the first post-COVID onsite training. The next “GO Equipped” classroom course is in Germany from Friday, October 29, 2021 to Monday, November 1, 2021 at DMG in Sinsheim. The program starts on Friday at 12:00 p.m. and ends on Monday at 4:00 p.m.

Should TMT Publish in Another Language?

The Question

Should Tentmaking Today be published in other languages? If so, which ones?

During the pandemic Tentmaking Today has observed many students enrolling in online courses in other languages to learn more about tentmaking, or to prepare to become tentmakers. Interest is growing. TMT has been asked if they could make their materials available in other languages to help a broader range of people.

We have given this some thought and are unclear whether there is sufficient interest to justify the extra expense. So, we are turning to you, our readers, for suggestions.

Young adults may change the way we do missions

Christian young adults see missions as something important. But they want to change the way it is done. You may be surprised to see what they say yes and no to. 

Aged in their mid 30s the young entrepreneurial couple from Europe sensed God’s calling to Asia. Thus, they decided to sell their businesses, and bring their money, skills, and faith with them into the unknown. Fundraising was not an option. Instead, they wanted to make a living through their work. In many ways they experienced that God had prepared the ground. Now they have served the Lord and the society they live in for close to ten years. Their jobs have provided for all their financial needs.

Powerful testimonies after 20 weeks in prayers

When Tent International turned 20 in November last year, the organization embarked on a 20-week prayer journey. More than 100 people got to hear powerful testimonies from around the world when the end of the campaign was celebrated just before Easter.

“As direct answers to your prayers, God has opened doors for the Gospel during the campaign,” shared a tentmaker from the Caribbean who studies in Eastern Europe. 

“In this time of prayer, God put me in touch with a young lady. Even if I did not get to share much about Jesus with her, she got a desire to come to my church. Not much later she accepted Christ,” shared the student who was the first one to go as a tentmaker from her nation. She now has a strong desire to start a Tent branch in the country that God has led her to.
