Onsite Tentmaker Training Returns

Back in Business

Onsite tentmaker training is back. The German team is the first to confirm a date for face-to-face training beginning this Fall.

Registration is open for the first post-COVID onsite training. The next “GO Equipped” classroom course is in Germany from Friday, October 29, 2021 to Monday, November 1, 2021 at DMG in Sinsheim. The program starts on Friday at 12:00 p.m. and ends on Monday at 4:00 p.m.

Backdrop

The pandemic has been a global disrupter. Activities and plans all over the world have been put on hold. We have had to find new ways to move forward. “Zoom rooms” and facetime became the tools of preference. They were used for teamwork, remote learning, socializing, and more.

Organizations that did not adapt were paralyzed and ceased to function. Those who were planning to add remote learning were forced to accelerate their transformation. It was both a good thing and a bad thing. Remote training opened opportunities for those who could not otherwise participate in training. We got better at doing remote training.

We learned remote learning could compensate for onsite learning. But it is not the best for all situations.

As restrictions eased, onsite learning was renewed in some organizations. Classes were quickly oversubscribed. People longed for the in-person experience. There are no substitutes for the face-to-face experience for optimal learning.

Tentmaker Training

The tentmaker experience has been no different. Tentmakers used the technology to continue preparing and learning. Training organizers were forced to rapidly produce online classes. As restrictions are anticipated to ease, onsite training is again showing up on the calendar.

The German team writes:

“We want to let you know we are still active in mobilizing future tentmakers. With the decreasing number of covid-19 incidents, we feel free to inform you that our next “GO Equipped” classroom course in Germany will take place from Friday, October 29, 2021 to Monday, November 1, 2021 at DMG in Sinsheim.”
